Gavin Friday - Adam 'n' Eve (LP, vinyl rip). 1992.

This is the second LP by the singer of Virgin Prunes. He's still teaming with the inspired musician Maurice "The Man" Seezer.

Their love for the cabaret - style music and melancholic miniature songs is obvious here.
From the twisted euro-pop of  "I want to live" to the T.Rex homage "King of trash" and the melodramatic atmosphere of "Falling off the edge of the world" (fantastic duet with the American singer Maria Mc Kee - sister of Bryan Mc Lean, guitarist and sometime singer of the groundbreaking 60's psychedelic band Love) the record is a continuous adventure!

My favorite track is "Where in the world", a darkwave masterpiece that taking us back to the glory days of Virgin Prunes.
The file contains all the artwork and the lyrics and its ripped from the original vinyl record to 320 mp3.

The Prunes - Nada (LP, vinyl rip). 1989.

The Prunes were the Virgin Prunes without the singer and songwriter Gavin Friday, who left the band in 1986. The Prunes (Mary - guitar, voice, Strongman - bass, and Dave-id - vocals) released three albums from 1988 to 1990 and this is the second.
Gavin Friday's favourite cabaret style is now gone and replaced by a more "rock" feeling. The band doesn't hesitate to experiment with different styles making the record a very interesting acoustic experience. Their best moments are the two straight psychedelic songs ("Dissolve to..." and "Flower") - the band creates a really dizzy psychedelic atmosphere.
There are also experimental songs with a heavy dark atmosphere ("Loaded in a crazy dream of hell" and "Voice Over") plus some songs moving between darkwave (the creepy "Built a temple of your soul" is a fantastic dark elegy) and rock.
It's not a masterpiece but it's an excellent record by some of the most adventurous musicians of their generation.
