Fields Of The Nephilim - Revelations 2 (plus!) (cd, mp3 320). 1993.

Of all the bands involved in Britain's goth rock movement of the 1980s, Fields Of The Nephilim were the most believable. The group's cryptic, occult-inspired songs were sung in a guttural roar by vocalist Carl mc Coy

Live appearances were shrouded with dim light and smoke machines, while bandmembers stalked the stage in black desperado gear inspired by western dress. The group was also one of the longest lived of the original goth rock groups. (from allmusic)

Revelations, band's official compilation, was released in 1993 by Beggar's Banquet Records and it contains 12 of their best songs so far. Some releases of this compilation included a bonus disc containing 7 songs - b sides and unreleased tracks and this is the content of this file. We also added two songs from the Psychonaut single (Psychonaut IIII and Psychonaut II.
Also you'll find Sumerland in an alternative version (Sumerland Dreamed) taken from the single with the same title and Sumerland (instrumental) taken from the unofficial vinyl album The Sacred And The Profane.

"π" Original Soundtrack - various artists. (Ripped from cd, mp3 320). 1999.

Pi, also titled π, is a 1998 American surrealistic psychological thriller film written and directed by Darren Aronofsky in his directional debut. The film earned Aronofsky the Directing Award at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival, and the Gotham Open Palm Award. The title refers to the mathematical constant π.

The film tells the story of a paranoid mathematician who is searching for the key number that will unlock the universal patterns found in nature. Of course the CIA is watching from a distance. Also a strange kabbalistic sect keeps an eye on him, waiting for the results of his work.
The soundtrack is exactly like the movie. Obscure, dark electronics by some of the best. Clint Mansell, Autechre, Massive Attack, Aphex Twin are some of the artists that created this futuristic dystopian soundtrack. A true masterpiece.

3. Autechre - Kalpol Intro
4. Aphex Twin -  Buchefalus Bouncing Ball

Front 242 - Re : Boot : Live (cd ripped, mp3 320). 1998.

Draw any map of electronic music and you’ll definitely need Front 242 somewhere at its centre. Taking a lead from the UK industrial scene of the mid-‘70s, the Brussels band set out on a path of exploration and innovation that has continued pretty much to the present day.

More of a forward-thinking community than a traditional group, Front 242 was at the forefront of electronic music’s move into the mainstream and continues to defy convention in its sonic communication.

Following the extensive 1993 tour, Front 242 took a temporary break which many assumed to be permanent after nothing was heard from the band for four years, while the individual members pursued other recording projects and work.

1997 brought a return to action in the live arena, and while no new songs were on offer, the bandmembers stated that they wanted to try new techno-inspired arrangements and presentations of many old songs. The results can be heard on Re:Boot, taken from two European dates in 1997 and 1998.

Re:Boot really is a killer album. Kicking off with a rampaging version of Evil Off's "Happiness (Modern Angel)," Re:Boot serves up both the expected hits -- "Masterhit," "Headhunter," "Welcome to Paradise" -- and a slew of strong album cuts.

Where Front 242 change things around with the songs, the results can be fascinating -- "Melt," for example, turns into a slow, moody crawl, mixed up with subtle breakbeats on the chorus. "In Rhythmus Bleiben" also gets an impressive energy charge, while "Religion" turns into an astonishing, Prodigy-tinged rave monster. (from Allmusic)
