"New Alternatives" - A Nightbreed compilation (LP, vinyl rip). 1990.

   This is the legendary ultra rare first record by the famous Nottingham based Nightbreed label.

   "I started Nightbreed way back in 1990 as a hobby.  I was still in the post punk/Gothic/Death Rock band “Every New Dead Ghost”, and as part of my activities of networking in the Gothic scene, I thought it would be a good idea to put out a compilation LP made up of some of the bands I was in communication with.  A few months of hard work later the “New Alternatives” LP came out".    This was the beginning for a succesfull record company but also a legendary rare record because of the quality of the bands and the fact that it's the only vinyl LP Nightbreed ever released. 

 Twelve bands from England, USA, Belgium and West (!) Germany play twelve loud and dirty gothic punk songs. This is not romantic goth. It's raw stuff with guitars at the edge of punk and dirty rock attitude.
